Hello, hello, hello, my queens!
teaching social skill it's only been a few girls promised to come to you with an episode on Thursday right but mama you are doing higher incredible work oh my god is growing the world Women's Day event going and go well that was great as with like the speakership of that sign with laughing, lifting each other, with some yordy 2500 women's coming together and not only uplifting ourselves, ourselves. So I have a girl's future for it makes me so excited so much Campbell for event. I love you coming in this episode of you. And I did that in order to fill up and fill up so that I could give and give at the event. And then I was totally depleted. Like I don't even think I could speak English the day after the event. And so I've been taking care of myself, I have been spending time with my boys, my family, my husband, my baby. I've been taking care of my clients again, my goddess one on one clients, my rock star one on one clients, my goddess classes, teaching. And so now a few days late, I am coming to you and getting to share with you, the goddess on purpose day that International Women's Day was and the takeaway that I want you to have whether you came to the event or you didn't. This episode is an opportunity for you to get some of those takeaways for you to walk away knowing that you choose your life, knowing that you get to make your desires non-negotiable. Knowing that who you surround yourself with matters, knowing that where you spend your time and attention matters. Knowing by the end of this episode, I want you to declaring that you are going to choose to be the goddess on purpose that you were born to be. So I'm coming at you with event highlights if you were there, then this episode will be super fun because it will like bring you right back to the moment. If you weren't there, might make you a little jelly that you were not there. And that's okay because I have an opportunity for you to get all the recordings. And for you to get the learnings in this episode, that is what really, really, really matters . So stay tuned for the whole thing because you know, I love to give you purpose power tips at the end. Of course, first I want to read the review of the week. This is a five star review coming from Unique Pivot. The review is called Self Love Saved Me. She says, I love your podcast, heart. Thank you. She said, I recently recently shared my story on my Instagram page to give others hope. I almost lost my life to pain pill opiate addiction because I was ashamed and I feared the judgment of others. My mission is to change the stigma around mental health and addiction. Yeah, you go woman. I'm now coach has channeled her path to purpose. I love your podcast. Yes, I love it when my podcast gets to inspire you, gets to move you into action toward being the goddess on purpose toward going for it fully. My heart is with you in all that you have been through and experienced. And you know I'm always talking about that our greatest pain often is the hub, the source of our purpose. And so Bravo to you woman, keep rockin it out keep bringing your mission alive. And I love that my podcast inspired you to get there. So let's get to it. Actually, first I want to thank our amazing, fantastic, could-not-do-it-without-you sponsors. Insight, you were so incredible to work with. Thank you for inviting all of your employees and for sponsoring the Women's Day event. We are so grateful Love, love love working with you and to Live BHappy magazine, our partner in media. You all got the word out so well. Any of you who are not familiar with Live Happy, go check them out, anything you want to know about happiness, the research, the how-to, the everything about how to live your happiest life, go to live happy. And of course special shout out to The Power of Girlhood, our not for profit initiative that we partnered with. This organization is doing incredible, incredible work teaching leadership, academic social skills to girls with promise in underserved communities. As part of Detroit, you are doing such incredible work, girls 13 to 18 are receiving so much benefit from you and every single person who purchases an all access pass, we are giving a portion of that sale to The Power of Girlhood. Can you imagine all of us coming together and not only uplifting ourselves and investing in ourselves, but investing in the girls of the future? Oh, it makes me so excited. So freaking incredible. Power of Girlhood, we love you, Live Happy, Insight, we love you. Now I want you to pause for a moment, I actually want to take us through a little meditation to begin. So if you are in a place where you can be comfortably seated, with your booty on the ground, or on a chair, your shoulders back, your head elevated and inch or two like the goddess Queen that you are, your shoulders relaxed down your back, your belly relaxed, your eyes gently closed. And join me there. If you are driving, or your eyes need to be open, and please do so. And allow yourself to elevate an inch taller. Allow yourself to root an inch deeper, knowing, sisters, that the deeper we root, the higher we grow. So I want you to feel that in this moment that you are both deeply, deeply, deeply rooted that you can feel a gorgeous root, vines, flowers coming from your root, connecting you into Mother Earth. Feeling yourself deeply connected, deeply rooted to the core of the Earth and that in doing so the core of the Earth lights up, lights up from your glory from your magic, from your light, your essence, your purpose, you being that goddess on purpose is lighting the earth up. And that light now comes back up through all the layers of rock and lava and dirt in the earth, back up through the ground, lighting up over your toes and feet and ankles and calves and thighs and buttocks and pussy and belly, back up over your breasts, over your shoulders, your arms, your fingers, your neck and at the top of your head, and allowing that to help you elevate even an inch taller. The deeper you root, the higher you soar, for as you are deeply rooted in the truth that you are a goddess on purpose, that you were born to be a goddess on purpose, that you would not have been born - you would not have been incarnated at this time - if you were not supposed to bring all of your gifts to bear, all of your juice to the world, all of your joy to radiate so brightly that you light up others around you. You were not born at this time to stay small. You were not born at this time to hide. You were not born at this time just to please everyone else, while suffocating your voice. You were not born at this time to make yourself fit into others' molds of who you are supposed to be, completely denying the world of the brilliance that you are. If that was the case, why would you have been born at this time? Oh, no sister. You were born to shine fully, you were born for all the places within you. That seemed too big, too much. And even seemed not enough. You were born for all of those places to shine so brightly that they light up the world and might doing so upset the applecart of it. People have wanted to keep you small, maybe. But in this moment, I want you to feel that bigness. I want you to take your arms and stretch them out, taking up space sister, elevating your head sister, putting that crown on your head. Declaring right here in this moment that you are a goddess on purpose, put on this earth to shine. Knowing so it is so it is so it is. Now I want you to wiggle your gorgeous fingers and toes over your head from side to side, gently open your eyes sister. And I want you to fill in the following sentence. A goddess on purpose is a woman who... dot dot dot. A goddess on purpose is a woman who... What? When I've asked this question before in my goddess courses I've gotten: a goddess on purpose is a woman who shines so brightly, she lights up the world, and Goddess on purpose is a woman who lives unapologetically a goddess on purpose as a woman who is fearless. I don't really believe in that I think we're all a little afraid. And that is totally normal. Totally normal. And I've gotten a goddess on purpose is a woman who is afraid and take steps anyway and moves forward anyway. And leans into her sisters anyway. And what I saw on Monday at the Women's Day event, the Women's Day event, this is the world's largest Women's Day event. As far as I know, I emailed the UN to find out if this is the largest, right, so I'm declaring it - more than 2500 women registered, 25 speakers, massive diversity of speakers, all different backgrounds, freaking loved it, all the topics of being a goddess on purpose, all the topics from you making your own money and being a leader, whether that is within an organization - I mean, we had an executive from Amazon as a speaker - or if that is you going and making $5 million being an entrepreneur badass because we had those speakers as well. That is you being so in love with yourself, alive in your body. With the dance and movement classes we had, the sensuality panel that we had, that is you declaring that you are going to be a woman who discovers, knows, owns and lives her purpose. You are going to make it non negotiable. The pieces of being gritty and confident. The pieces of Sisterhood of leaning in even when and especially when you don't feel like it. The Women's Day event was all of that and even more, even more glorious. Am I right sisters, were you there if you weren't there. I'm gonna take you on a little ride through it right now. I have to tell you first that the night before the Women's Day event, I actually was in tears. I had done all the things to pump myself up to be so full, so juicy, right, like the day, two days before the Women's Day event, Josh and I took a half a day and my parents watched the baby. We went to a luxury hotel. We smooched, we went dancing we went swimming. We ordered rosé, we had expensive food, we filled the frick up. I spent time with my coach getting full, getting full. We went on a boat so that I could laugh and we could laugh and we could be so alive. I leaned into my sisters and received support from them and encouragement and the you got this baby, like I am telling you I filled up and filled up and filled up I went shopping for the most glorious outfit - yes I had multiple outfit changes during the day. And it's funny, people who knew me years ago didn't even know that I was into fashion, I mean I'm not really into like fashion brand names. I don't really know a lot of brand names. But yeah, I love looking hot. Yeah, I love feeling so sexy and alive and I knew I wanted like the perfect outfit for the day. And I found it the day before, right, like I didn't have it until the day before until Josh and I went to that sexy hotel. We were walking back from the pool and there was this boutique in the hotel and boom - there was the most adorable beautiful amazing little hot pink romper that matches my purpose girl logo perfectly matches the Women's Day event logo perfectly. And it was $400 like way more than I wanted to spend on one outfit. And it led me up from the inside to wear it, I felt so cute, so adorable, so sexy, such a goddess and I'm like, all right I'm wearing it. Because I knew that the way I showed up to that event, I knew that that mattered. And what mattered the most wasn't what you all thought of me. That's not what I was thinking of in buying the outfit. What mattered was how I felt, because how I felt was going to project out right? Like you were going to feel my energy. And if you were there, you felt my energy. You knew how alive I felt you knew how sexy I felt, how sassy I felt, how smart I felt, you could feel that and that was important. So again, it's not about the outside is not about anyone else. It was about me. And I want you to think about that. What are the ways that you show up? What are the ways that you dress? What are the ways that you feel alive? So I was so full, and then the night before the event, sister? We dropped Shay off at my parents for sleep over, because we knew we had an early early morning and had to be ready to go. And I started bawling. I said to Josh, I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. All of a sudden, all of this fear washed over me. And I was like, I can't do it. What if I suck? What if I fail? What if people hate it? What if no one shows up? All these people signed up and they don't show up? What if it all goes so wrong? What if they all hate me? My god, I'm going to start - I am crying now - what if you all hate me? And sister that is, I would say the most prevailing running bullshit negative thought that goes through my brain. If there's any story that little Carin has, and you know, I believe that that voice inside us is like a younger part of ourselves that is just afraid. And she created a story in order to keep us safe in the world. And her story is women, other girls and other women hate me. And she was just being so loud. And I said I can't do it, I can't do it, we were driving home. And then I said, I'm going to spend an entire day away from my baby. Right? Like, I have to tell you the whole purpose of creating the Women's Day event, and all that's going to come out of that like just wait until you see all that I have planned for you. Because the goddess classes that I have planned for you from this, I am talking about the class for you to rise up as the goddess on purpose, who not only knows, uncovers her purpose, if you're out there, and you don't know your purpose and you want to, you're like dying to I have created the course for you for that. And if you know your purpose, but you're ju,st like not doing it, I have created the course for you to go and like lovingly kick you out into the world. And like the most delicious, loving, you-got-this way. And what is going to come from this in terms of supporting other women who want to be on stage because one of the things I learned from this is how many of you want to share your story, want to be on stage, want to speak. Even if you're terrified of it, you want to be out there, you want that glory of being onstage. So I have so much that's going to come from this. And the night before, so I knew like I'm creating this event, ultimately, so that I can create the ripple effect in the world, and the business that will allow me ultimately to spend more time with my child, right? Like, I'm working all of this in order to work less, to create the courses for you, that ultimately I will end up having more time with my son. But I was filled with mom guilt, right, that I was gonna have a whole day away from him. I didn't want to, I love him. He's a baby. I don't want to be away from him. And the words from my therapist had been ringing in my ears. When I first told her I was going to host this event. She said to me, do you really need to do that? Right? Like, really? Just check in. You have a baby, you worked five years to have this baby. Isn't that really like where your time is you already have this successful business. What are you doing? And she didn't call me crazy, but that's the words I heard right? Like she obviously professionally would not say You're crazy. But basically that's what she was saying is like, you're crazy. And I said you think I'm crazy, don't you? And she laughed, of course. And so I'm like, okay, here I am. Am I crazy? But I'm obsessed with purpose because purpose always brings us back. And when I sat in deep meditation, I knew no, I'm not crazy. I'm hosting the world's largest Women's Day event. Because I believe that our time is now, I believe that you came here to be on that stage or to become the teacher or the nurse or the executive. To be the millionaire to be whatever the fuck you want to be. I believe that we came here at this time, to be the goddess on purpose. And I believe that what the world needs right now are all of us rising up as that goddess making the change. And my purpose as a mom, can you imagine what my baby boy is going to say? Knowing that his mom did that? Can you imagine how he's going to treat women and equality? By watching and modeling what I do? He's not going to learn to go after his dreams by me just telling him you go after your dreams while I just like sit in a corner and hide. No, he's going to know to follow his dreams because he witnesses it in me. So do I need to hold this event? Did I need to hold this event? The answer was yes. Because I was put on this earth at this time to motivate the masses, the millions of you, can you imagine all of us in our goddess gear, whatever that is to you. Like if to you that is like black leather warrior, hot dominatrix outfit or whether to you that is flowy goddess see or to you that is like maybe pinstripe suit, whatever it is you are it's new, like, Can you imagine all of us rising up like I'm seeing it right now. All over this entire Earth. walking forward as those goddesses in our power speaking our voice, sharing our gifts, raising the world, the vibration, back to love at this time. So as you're driving home, I'm thinking why am I doing this stop? Don't do it. And my husband is so wonderful. He said Baby, you don't have to. And he is so smart, that one. Because he knows if he says you don't have to he, he knows what he's just doing in that moment is he is supporting my nervous system and helping me to relax. Because he knows I'm ultimately going to do the thing. I'm gonna do the damn thing, I always do. And so he said, no, baby, you don't have to do it. It's okay. And that just gave me the permission. Isn't he wonderful? Just gave me the permission to cry. And then to go, okay, let's go do this. We got this. But I want to share with you honestly what that moment was like, because I want you to know that it's okay t o be afraid. It's okay to have fear. It's okay to have guilt. It's okay for all of those very human and normal emotions to come up as you're about to do something extraordinary. As you're about to do something, whether it's big or small, quote, unquote, a step towards your purpose. And if you're out there, you're thinking, Well, I'm not doing anything as big as throwing this world's biggest event. Make no mistake, sister, you simply sharing your very first post about your true purpose is a massive, it's as big as what I just did. Because I remember the feeling when I shared my first post, when I first declared my purpose, when I first left the abusive relationship that I did 30 years ago. So every step is massive. And you congratulate yourself on every step. One of my goddess on purpose clients, who took the goddess on purpose class, and is now in another goddess class with me, in the goddess on purpose class, she discovered her purpose of feeling so beautiful and sensual and sexy, and doing beautiful, amazing sexual erotic dancing and feeling so sexy in her own body. After years of not feeling that like decades, that she has discovered this knowing I want to empower other women to feel that to feel alive and juicy and delicious and sexy. Even if they're a mom, no matter what their body shape, size, age is. And this week, she had a massive breakthrough. She shared that with her partner, the amount of fear of sharing this when that has not been part of their conversation or way of being. And he was so excited for her like heck, yeah. She told him what she was thinking of charging as a coach and he was like, nope, you're gonna charge more. Right? So like that her sharing with her partner was as big as me throwing this event. Because every step is important. And so I want to share honestly, what the night before this event was like, because if you're out there and you're feeling any of that fear, any of that staying stuck, I want you to know, sister, you're not alone. It's normal. Happens to me too. And I gotcha. Okay. It's why you need to be in my goddess courses so that I can continuously be in my ear. And as my god is on fire, sisters say lovingly kick them out of the nest right like lovingly get their booty going. So that was the night before. And then I barely slept as you can imagine and woke up the next morning and knew that the most important thing was for me to take care of myself. And so I meditated. I journaled. I gave myself grace, I said to myself, something's probably gonna go wrong today. Something's gonna be imperfect. And that's okay, we're going to allow it. And then I drew myself a bath, and let Josh bring me coffee, it was so delicious. And then we started the day - actually, first my team came on the zoom. I led everybody through meditation, especially letting go of it needing to be perfect. Please write that down sister. That was part of my meditation before throwing this, was leaning and surrendering. Knowing it's okay if something goes wrong because it probably well, right we all know that. So just to laugh with it and go with it. I leaned into one of my soul sisters and I said, can you please like send me a note that my presence is enough? If I do nothing else, but just show up? It is enough. Right? So I asked for what I needed. Write this stuff down, do that. And then sister ,holy shit the event? Like, were you there for Allison's workout class? So I work out three days a week with Alison it's funny for me to even say I work out because I've never been true to a workout class in my life. Like it's always sounded fun. Like yeah, I want to take Zumba. Yeah, I want to take something - actually, my erotic dancing class before I was pregnant, I was true to also - I went every single week, it was freaking amazing. Shout out to my teacher, Rachel, and then postpartum, like, and typically what I've done is I run. But in the last couple months, I've been going to my soul sister dear friend, Allison's class. And she has this mix, we need a name for it. It's like indulgent body movement. She has this mix of Pilates and yoga, and dance to make you feel like so delicious in your body. So good. And for the first time in my life, I have abs, no joke, I am eight months postpartum. And I have ABS for the first time and it is because of Allison. And so of course, she had to kick us off. I'm telling you, my mom is in her exercise class. My assistant's mom is in her exercise class. My clients are in her exercise class. Like, if you did not take this exercise class, like, you should get the recordings. Okay, the recordings are all available in something called the all access pass, which I am still allowing people to purchase, like I wasn't really going to after the event, but I've had several people ask me for it. So you can get the all access pass, we have the link for it in the show notes. You also can go to the Women's Day Event dot com and get the all access pass. They're totally totally worth it, because women pay for obviously for Allison's class, and you get the all access pass. And you can have her class over and over and over again. Anyway. So she totally made people feel juicy and delicious in their body, and awake and nurtured and alive. And feeling the strength in their abs and their core. So good. And then I kicked off the event, like that was like our slow open or whatever. And then I came in in my hot pink amazing outfit that was so delicious. And so fun. We're all dancing to JLo. And I got to start off the event by just taking you through a deep, beautiful, powerful meditation that if you listen to every day, for 30 days, it will change your life. Okay, that meditation alone is worth the all access pass, because you just listened to that and you will come alive just like the meditation at the beginning of this episode. It's like that on fire on steroids. Totally waking us all up. Having us be in our body. I then shared a deep truth that you're going to hear me talk about even more, which is if any part of you is suppressed, it will lead to being depressed. And that frankly sisters, the time is now. I shared the statistics and what's been happening with women and depression and women being twice as likely to be depressed as men and what is happening with depression and COVID. And why it is our time, we must rise up, we must be in goddess sisterhood. We must be opening up and rising up as Goddesses on purpose right now. We must claim our glory.
And then we had Colleen Osborne come and give this beautiful prayer invocation. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I could listen to her all day long. I've told her before she should run for president of the United States. She's so - I just - she's so calming. And she's so awakening in every word that she says, her words speak right to your bones. And then we had our Poet Laureate. So in creating the Women's Day event, I was very Inspired by the inauguration of Joe Biden and Amanda Gorman as the poet laureate, and I said, I want a poet laureate and my goddess, I knew exactly who to pick, Torin McGill, write that name down, you're going to hear about her. She's going to be like, opening up for presidential inaugurations. And when they're women, she can she is a juicy goddess, feminine, powerful poem. And her poem, it's, I can't even call it a poem. She, she got to my bones. I was in tears when she was finished with her poem. I couldn't even speak. And y'all know me, I can always talk, I could not speak. She awakened the oh, woman, the glory in me. And the internet was buzzing about her afterwards, I saw in multiple groups that I'm in people talking about Torin. Again, get the all access pass - if you missed her poem, like you better get the all access pass, because that alone, oh, in fact, my mom emailed me or texted me, at the end of the day, asked how I was doing and etc. And then she said, and how about that poet, I'm like, I know, right? That was like, the thing that my mom highlighted, blew me away. That lit us all up. As what Torin did is she got to the heart of who woman is, who we are in our glory, who we are and why we must rise at this moment, the pains that we have been through the traumas that we have experienced and the glory from it all. Oh, I have chills it was so delicious, and Torin is such an example of a woman a goddess on purpose. I mean, here is a woman who is putting herself - she's a sensuality coach, a poet, a beautiful, gorgeous black woman speaking her voice, despite all of what the world has said was capable impossible for black women and black girls as we pay our black women less than white women. And of course, we pay white women less than men. And he or she is, so powerful. I mean, that alone, just witnessing her performance, her speaking, her words, will elicit the goddess in you. I then had the honor of giving an entire keynote, about how to live your purpose, where throughout, and after women were shouting in the chat - shouting, quote unquote, right, all caps - it is non negotiable that I live on purpose. Like that's how inspiring and powerful - I brag - I was. Women were writing, I choose, I choose, I choose, right, because you know that I'm all about that you get to choose this life. It is up to you. You say I choose I choose I choose, and whatever is happening in your life, you've already chosen it, right? You're not happy in your marriage. You've chosen it. And you might be like, no, I didn't my husband or my wife is X, Y or Z. But then you're choosing for it to stay the same. Or you're choosing to stay in it. Or you're choosing to be unhappy with it. Instead of looking at what could be really marvelous about it. I choose. If you hate your job, one of the women in my goddess class, she said she realized working with me. She's been hating her job and hating her job. But she's figuring out her purpose. And we're like making amazing progress on that. But she said I realized I've been choosing to spend a lot of energy hating it. And I don't have to do that. Right. Like I can choose to think of it differently. Yeah, right now I need it to pay the bills. Cool. But I'm choosing to see it as what pays the bills, not as my primary gig, my primary gig is figuring out my purpose. Right? So in the chat, like my keynote, I brag, was so powerful that women were just writing, shouting, I choose I choose I choose. And then it is not negotiable that I follow my purpose. It is not negotiable that I follow my purpose. And then I've gotten so many emails asking like, how do I discover my purpose? How do I go deeper? Help me get out there help me go live it and that's why I'm so excited, coming soon, the goddess on purpose class is coming! And you're gonna want to take it., Like, I'm telling you, dozens and dozens of women have taken this class and have then created blogs, launched their businesses. Oh, my goddess, like it just blows me frickin away. Put their voice into the world for the first time ever. So that keynote was so powerful. I want to remind you of what prompted me to hold this event - it's that normally I speak at a company on International Women's Day. And like last year, I was the keynote speaker at Amazon. Okay, Amazon. In prior years, I've been the keynote speaker at companies like Capital One, Progressive Insurance, MetLife. So like big companies, and typically that's where I am on International Women's Day. And it was the first week of January. And I was like, oh, my gosh, this is coming up in two months, eight weeks, and I have not booked anywhere to speak. So I said to my team, like, where am I going to speak? Let's find me somewhere. And then I had a deeper knowing, where I said, oh, no, I don't need anyone else to go speak at. I'm going to create my own stage. And I'm going to create my own event. Because then I can impact way more people. Right? At Amazon, I impacted a lot of people, there were 1000 people. For my event that I held myself, 2500. Do you see how that works? We must stop waiting for the invitation. Being a goddess on purpose means you don't wait for the invitation to go live your purpose and to go do the thing that you want to do. You create your own stage sister, and I'm telling you, my keynote during the day. That's what women were writing, I create my own stage. In fact, this one woman made artwork that included I create my own stage like it was so beautiful, so freakin good. I got to post that. You create your own stage. And that's what I did here. Why do I have to wait for someone else to invite me to speak? Heck, no, I'll do it myself. And I realized that's way better. I want to impact more women because given the depression statistics, what's happened with COVID, 30% higher depression, and I bet it's even higher. That's just what's reported. And women taking the majority of burden of homeschooling and virtual learning while also trying to work has left more women out of a job, has left more women working less hours. So it hurt us financially, like that's been proven at this point that COVID had women take a step back, so I'm like, fuck that, screw that. I'm empowering women to rise up now. And it starts with me holding this event. Oh, so good. It was so good. It was so good. It was so good. Yes, I brag. I'm gonna brag brag, brag brag bag. It was so good. So you set your own stage sister - major, major learning from the day. We then had a beautiful self massage break. My goddess client, Katie Kern taught us all some self massage techniques because you go and get a massage. And that's like one time, right? And you feel a little bit better in the moment. But if you can learn techniques, to reduce stress in your own life and are in the moment, then you can have forever impact and that's what she does. She teaches people to get rid of stress or how to deal with stress for good, so good. Then my soul sister, V wild and sacred woman, Margot Awanata took the stage with me and we had a delicious, juicy conversation where she shared how she had been bulimic. She hated herself in her body and how it was a mentor who caught her on her path and help saved her life. And how that led now for her to support other women instead of trying to fit in and be perfect by society's standards or think that they're supposed to be something. She helps a woman get into her primal self, her wild nature, and then she took us through this dance that I cannot describe - again, get the all access pass because you want to do this dance - where she wrote this gorgeous poem about the wild woman in Austin, she set it to music so it's like this song/poem/dance, like I don't know how even how to describe it but that's why you need the all access pass. And she got us so into our primal self, our true as woman, that we are nature we are the storm, we are the sun. We are Mother Earth and like so in our bodies that oh, my goddess, like my hair was all over the place. My heart was beating and I felt so alive. Not that she almost died from bulimia, but she has the tools to be alive and she taught us to do that. It was so freakin good. So good. Talk about making your own stage, she creates this kind of work for women all over, Europe all over the world. You make your own stage, you are goddess on purpose. Do you hear me? You're gonna hear me say it again and again and again. We then went into the entrepreneur panel. Woo! These women were lit! I'm talking about women who make seven figures, multiple six figures, diverse backgrounds. I am blown away by these women who taught you everything. One is an expert in women becoming real estate goddesses. You can make some extra cash while you sleep. One will help you get your book off the ground. There was a whole conversation about your money story and like being comfortable with money, whole story. One incredible woman on the panel went from sleeping on a friend's couch to now being a multi six figure entrepreneur earner who works with six and seven figure earners. My coach Julia Wells was on teaching like how to just like be in your pleasure, and that that will lead to the money and the entrepreneurship you need. It was so freakin alive and awesome. So good. We went from that. So you I mean, again, it's like if you paid each one of these women, it would cost so much - trust me because I do, I paid two of those women - and it costs so much money. It's why like, you know I do all those trainings so I can bring it to you, but if you pay those women... But if you get the all access pass, it's super, super cheap. It's only $197, you get all of this that I'm describing, you will get their wisdom. I mean, how low, that's like the steal of the century, like what are you waiting for? Go get that all access pass. People told me they took 10 pages of notes during this event. 10 pages. So yeah, you want the all access pass, and they got the all access pass, they took 10 pages of notes, and they got the all access pass so that they could get it again and again.
And then after that we had Bernadette Pleasant take us through, there was Baba Don - she had her friend and colleague Baba Don doing live drumming while Bernadette took us through like an emotional journey of how to hold ourselves in love, how to take up space, how to walk with confidence, how to let out anger and rage, how to be in grief, like how to actually feel our emotions in order to rise up and take that space and be glorious. It was so freakin good.
And again, like you pay a lot of money to go to Bernadette's classes. And she generously did this class for everyone at the Women's Day event for free. It was incredible. Oh my goddess, people were just like, ugh, that tribal movement. One of my students was like, I wasn't sure about that, you know, when she first saw it, she started and then she's like, and then I got so into it, it was so good. Bernadette is the queen, you must go watch her. And the idea there is that as a goddess on purpose, we have to feel all of our emotions, like we've had too much in our lives tell us to not feel at all, right, like that we're wrong to be angry or wrong to have grief. Uh uh. All of that is just data, just data. And actually, that came up in the happiness panel, right where we meet Jane who suffered anxiety as a child, emulation of a tough sky, and my colleague who created the certificate in applied positive psychology, and she shared that she lost her brother when she was, you know, just a little girl, and has actually lost both of her parents now. And she was in a relationship with someone who was a narcissistic sociopath, and how all those experiences - and here she teaches happiness for a living and runs a school teaching happiness and a flourishing seven figure business teaching people happiness all over the world and how, what we need for resilience, right, and like using emotions as data. My best friend - one of my best friends, Stacy, sharing on that panel about going into being quiet and listening to yourself and intuition to move out of conventional wisdom to be happy, about self love. Incredible woman, Amber Forrester getting us into flow and strengthening, the woman was on Shark Tank and now teaches happiness, like she's incredible. And that panel was off the charts. And I had a solo talk with New York Times bestselling author Angela Duckworth, one of my professors, and she shared thoughts not just from her book, but she and I got into confidence for women, like what is keeping women from confidence and the tools that we need, all based in research, all based in science, all based in what we both know, as being moms and being academic and being out there on big stages. I mean, her TED Talk has been downloaded 22 million times. So like, we have this powerful conversation not seen or heard anywhere from her, anywhere. So you definitely want to watch that. I mean, she was so - she's so real, like she just showed up exactly as she is like in her jeans and her scarf and her sweatshirt. And it's so powerful in that and being this major, influential woman and a mom of two, and she shared her own inner psyche and workings around that. And it was just so powerful, so beautiful.
Patricia Moreno, who founded IntenSati, if you haven't heard of that, you definitely want to get the all access pass to do InstenSati, oh my god it was so good. I was taking a quote unquote, like I didn't take any breaks throughout the day but like, I needed to take like a five minute pee break and eat something quickly. And I was eating while I was doing IntenSati with her because I love her class so much I had to do it. And what she does is she combines powerful like exercise movements with mantra, an affirmation, so you're like I am powerful beyond measure. I am powerful beyond measure as you're like punching into the air and you're like, um, moving and jumping and dancing. And you're saying these mantras and it like lifts you up and I have already heard from at least one woman that like, she's now taking IntenSati classes because it was so good. Oh my goddess, so good. So oh my goddess, we all just like rose up, got so much happier, so much more alive.
And then I changed into a nightie, a black silky lingerie, in order to host the sensuality panel. And oh, my goddess, whoo! I had for sensuality coaches, intimacy coaches, who showed up. Oh my god, so orgasmic. And the conversation was about how we can be orgasmic all the time. Yes, all the time. It was so delicious. And sharing that no, they're not always like that. And that they have the tools to bring themselves back to it all the time. And this is the aspect of being goddess on purpose. Like, when I first started purpose girl, I was purpose, purpose, purpose, like, go do the thing. Go do the thing. Go do the damn thing. Right? Oh, I'm back. I missed telling you that was like a major takeaway throughout the day, and from my keynote, people hashtagging do the damn thing. Like, that's what we were all just all day long going to the gym thing. But anyway, when I started purpose girl, I was like, all about just do the thing, do the thing. Like, go do your purpose, go do your purpose. And still, though treating it like I had in corporate and exhausted myself, and was so depleted and overwhelmed and exhausted. And what I needed was the feminine, was the juice, I needed to be in my joy and in my pleasure and in my yumminess. Like, everything I shared with you, filling up before I gave, instead of just giving, giving and being depleted. Because then I had so much more to give, like, yes, I ended up depleting, cause, 12 hours, hello. But when you fill up, you have so much more. And so I studied sensuality for two years, and got into my body. And that's when I do my goddess on purpose class, when I teach me a goddess on purpose. It's all of this, it's being the whole woman. It's being a woman who loves yourself, who feels delicious and sexy in your body. Who knows how to fill your own cup and have what I call joy juice and know how to access and fill up on that joy juice anytime. I know it doesn't all have to be sexual. Of course, joy juice is also like the La Croix flavor that you love and the activities that you love and being in nature, and for me like going on a boat again today, and all of that. So it's like filling up. Anyway. So being that your delicious, beautiful, feeling sexy, feeling sensual, feeling beautiful. And then being the badass and going live your purpose, go out there and make your own money, whether that's getting a raise in your corporate job, or that's creating your own biz. Like, yeah, it's being that whole woman. And that's why you've got to get into my goddess on purpose class. It's coming soon. I cannot wait. Doors opening soon, but I'll talk about that in the next episode. Just know right now it's coming and like get excited and get like, feel in your body when I talk about it, how that feels for you. And are you getting like excited, like, oh my goddess, I've been wanting to work with Karen, I've been wanting to be a purpose girl. And maybe you're getting a little scared and nervous, like, Oh my god, am I really gonna do it or I can't do it. And like just, I hear you. I'm putting all sorts of love around your fear, knowing it's normal, and trusting your deepest intuition and your deepest joy of what you're meant for. And after the sensuality panel, we had jen pastilla, who's best selling author of On Being Human. And we got into your BS thoughts, right? Like all the bullshit thoughts, as she calls it, that your brain tells you all the reasons why you can't do something or shouldn't do something or that you're a loser or whatever it is. And claiming she's like, I love this sentence. She literally said, I'm wildly successful at what I do. Boom. Like, can you imagine being a woman who claims that - I am wildly successful at what I do? And she's like, yeah, I'm giving myself a gold medal.
And she's like, what are you giving yourself a gold medal in? Oh, my goddess, it was so powerful. Like this was the day. Okay, so if you came, I hope that this is like reigniting you around everything that was that day and how delicious and powerful and amazing it was. And if you didn't come I hope this is like giving you that juice. What can happen when a group of powerful women come together, and the sisterhood and the comments and the supporting and the telling each other you got this you can go for it like this is goddess sisterhood. If you missed it, and go get the all access pass, it's like super cheap, go get it. If you can't afford it, then just reach out to me and my team will like break up the payments for you. Like just get it and if you were there for the day but you've already started to lose some of your juice, like, get the all access pass. Either way get into my next goddess on purpose class right, coming soon. I'm so excited.
And then of course, I finished off the day with just closing remarks to hashtag go do the damn thing. Feel amazing in your body, make it non negotiable that you're a goddess on purpose. And then of course, we had a little non alcoholic bubbly toast. Balloon drop! It was fine. Josh dropped balloons all over me. Yes, it was fine.
Can I tell you, goddess, the entire day we had interpreted into American Sign Language. And that alone was beautiful to watch. It was like watching Symphony and harmony. MJ Grant and her team. Marian, Amber April. I mean, these interpreters were gorgeous. I've gotten so many comments on just the impact of witnessing American sign language interpreters all day long. I spoke to MJ, the interpreter who has been on my podcast, you want to go listen to her episode, and to help me coordinate all of it. I was speaking to her last night, we were reminiscing about the event and just holding each other and loving each other and celebrating. And I told her how special, like I've gotten so many comments about the interpreters. And she was like, really? And I said, Yeah, I think it's that we go to so many of these kinds of events, right online webinars, things like that, and we never see it interpreted. And that what the interpreters did was open our hearts, to expand to all of our sisters. Right? Like all of our sisters, she is the one who got me to start getting transcriptions of all my podcasts. Because before her I hadn't even thought of I'm so sorry, I'm ashamed to say, I'm so sorry, and I'm doing better now, that I hadn't thought of my deaf sisters. Will know more. And so I think she opened our hearts that day, and just witnessing them all day, because they don't just interpret with their fingers in their hands, they interpret with their whole bodies. Oh, I have chills It was so good. The event was truly about a rising up of being a goddess on purpose, of a sisterhood of goddesses on purpose, who are here to change the world. One goddess at a time. And that's what we did. Each woman walking away sharing at the end of the day what she took away. And women were saying, taking away, I choose. Taking away, it's non negotiable that I live my purpose. Taking away to take up space. Taking away feeling good in their bodies. Taking away that their sensuality matters. Taking away that they're not too old. And it was powerful. And it was all about being a goddess on purpose and so sister, purpose power tips for you to take away: number one, what are you choosing?
