Years ago, I struggled so much. I had a "perfect" husband, a "great" job, a "beautiful" home, and a "pure bred" Golden Retriever, but I cried every day in depression. I felt alone and like something was missing. I was stuck. Lost. Downright depressed. And I felt guilty for feeling that way. I had done everything "right," so why wasn't I happy? I went on a journey to discover what happiness meant to ME and I learned the importance of purpose, the necessity of JOY, and how to shift my mindset from negativity to positivity in any moment. I discovered that there's a science of happiness - Positive Psychology - and I left my job as a Vice President of Marketing to get my masters degree in it from the Ivy Leagues. I became a women's happiness and purpose coach who was named the "Happiness Guru" for SiriusXM's women's morning show. Knowing the Science of Women's Happiness has made me feel ALIVE AND MAGICAL!
Every day isn't easy, but I've learned how to be happy no matter what. I've realized that with so much negativity in the world, the silver bullet to happiness is CHOOSING to make Happiness an intentional daily Habit!
